The One Group are delighted to be working with a high-performance engine manufacturer in Northampton who have recently had a revamp with new machinery spending over millions of pounds on the latest technology are seeking a 5 Axis Setter Operator to work within there components function to manufacture components for there hypercar and supercar projects.

This one is not to be missed, you will be working within a business who are at the forefront of what they do working with some of the most lucrative names within the automotive and motorsport industries, and you could be right at the heart of manufacturing components for high value projects.

This position will be working a double day shift rotating weekly which is 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday one week and 2pm - 10pm Monday - Thursday with a slightly earlier finish on a Friday.

The business has recently purchased some brand new DMG 5 Axis machines which you will be responsible for setting and operating the machines using Heidenhain controls manufacturing components such as pistons for high value customers as well as setting and operating Fanuc controlled machines.

You will be working on high value components where you will be responsible for performing manual manufacturing processes as well as self inspecting your own work to ensure quality is right focusing on engine development programmes for the business.

If you are an experienced 5 Axis Machinist with experience of using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls wanting to work on the latest DMG machines manufacturing high value components this could be the role for you.
