Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are working closely with a 2 form entry Primary School based in the BS13 area of Bristol.

This school are in high demand of Teaching Assistants to join their team from March until July.

This school have a friendly and supportive leadership team, offering professional development, high expectations and a creative and encouraging environment.

The Role

This Primary School are currently seeking 3 Full-Time Teaching Assistants to work in Reception, Year 2 and Year 5.

As a successful candidate, you will work closely with the Class Teachers to implement interventions with individuals and groups of students, to prepare resources and to occasionally supervise the whole class with a short-term absence of the Teacher.

You will be expected to:

  • Support children in different aspects of their school life; social, physical, hygiene and welfare.
  • Have an understanding of the curriculum
  • Support the class teacher with the planning of interventions.
  • Encourage children to interact and engage with others.
  • Monitor and evaluate children’s development throughout a learning activity.
