3rd Line / Senior Technical Consultant

Profectus are working with a well-established growing MSP in the Brighton area who are looking for a 3rd line / Senior Technical Consultant for their expanding team......

Our client is currently going through a growth phase and is looking for the right person to join the Technical team and work closely with the solution architects and the sales team ensuring the delivery of bespoke IT Solutions. The role requires travel to client sites so having a Driver’s license is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and contributing to ongoing projects both remotely and on-site
• Collaborating with Solutions Architects and Sales team
• Driving and managing presales process, articulating technology and product portfolio
• Deliver technical presentations, training, and onsite project management
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and ISO standards

Qualifications and Skills:

• Microsoft Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Endpoint Manager, Defender)
• Microsoft Azure configuration and administration
• VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Networking principles
• Microsoft Office support
• Experience supporting Firewall products
• Backup & disaster recovery solutions
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements
• MSP experience and relevant IT certification (CompTIA A+ or Microsoft)
• Customer-facing role experience and understanding of consulting process
• 2nd to 3rd line support, including networking, hardware, and cloud infrastructure
