3.5 Tonne Van Driver (B Licence) - Multidrop - IMMEDIATE START

£11.44, Temp to Perm role for the right candidate, Day Shift, 6:30am to 16:00pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

York - YO19

Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced 3.5 Tonne Van Driver (B) Driver to join their national transportation company. The role will be based at their York YO19 Branch. This will suit those looking for progression opportunities and those looking to learn new skills.

Day to day tasks for the successful candidate will be:

- Completing Multidrop rounds and following the route plan in a safe & timely manner

- Filling in relevant paperwork / signing off deliveries

- Meeting customers and delivering requested goods

- Loading and Unloading the van as required

- Order Picking Ready to Palletise

- Manual Handling

- Marking up incoming stock

- General Warehouse duties

- Preparing Pallets for Despatch

Key skills required for the role include:

- Must hold a VALID B licence which enables you to drive up to 3.5 Tonnes

- Reliable, hardworking and willing to listen and learn

- Health & Safety awareness

- A team player who can use their own initiative

- A friendly personality within the team

- Capable of working unsupervised and to a tight schedule

- Understanding paperwork

You will be required to work a core of 40 hrs per week, 6:30am to 16:00pm, Monday to Friday . Overtime may be available during busy periods. The role commenceson a long-term temp basis, but may become permanent for the right candidate.
