Job Title: 2nd Line IT Engineer
Location: Trafford, Manchester
Work Structure: Hybrid
Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 DOE

Our client, a global supplier of branded merchandise who work with some of the most well-known brands are looking for an enthusiastic, driven 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their IT department.

Operating across the world, you will be based at their Manchester HQ supporting users in a busy environment remotely and face-to-face. This is a hybrid position, after one month of training in the office you can work 2-3 days from home each week!

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Active Directory / Group Policies
• VoIP Phone System
• PowerShell
• Cloud - Azure and/or AWS
• Anti-virus management
• Remote Desktop Solutions
• Support of CRM/ERP systems
• MDM Technologies

Day-to-day:

• Effectively manage your own workload including backup management, data inputting, software deployments, mobile management, basic networking support, permissions, configurations, documentation (and more!)
• Provide a high level of IT Support to users internally
• To be the escalation point for junior engineers including mentoring
• Support colleagues across the groups server & network infrastructure
• To ensure the business systems, comms platforms, servers and network infrastructure are all operating smoothly across the company
• Ensure all procedural documentation is kept up to date for all systems
• Assist in projects including implementation of a Security Awareness Program for all staff.
