2nd Line IT Engineer (Hospital IT Department) - LONDON - £35-40K
I am seeking a skilled 2nd Line IT Engineer with a passion for technology & networking. As a 2nd Line IT Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT team, serving as an escalation point for technical issues. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining reliable systems, enhancing security, and optimizing IT services.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Respond promptly to 2nd line support requests.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networking, servers, and desktop systems.
- Collaborate with 1st line support.
Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain & configure Cisco networking equipment.
- Monitor backup technologies to safeguard critical data.
- Administer Windows servers and desktops, ensuring smooth operations.
Microsoft 365 and Cloud Services:
- Manage Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online & SharePoint.
- Azure experience (Desirable).
Virtualization and Remote Access:
- VMware & Citrix environments.
- Troubleshoot remote access issues.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a 2nd line IT support role.
- Proven expertise in Cisco networking and Windows server administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows desktop systems.
