Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver second-line technical support, efficiently resolving escalated IT issues to maintain optimal client satisfaction.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting of hardware and software problems, ensuring swift resolution to minimize business disruptions.
• Collaborate with team members to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions, encompassing servers, networks, and security systems.
• Execute regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to enhance performance and fortify security measures.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, fostering their professional development and knowledge enhancement.
• Document and uphold IT processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a 2nd Line Engineer or similar role in an IT support environment, preferably within the IT consulting sector.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Office 365, and other essential business applications.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with server administration tasks, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to delivering exceptional client service.
