1st Line Engineer

Location: Prestwich, Manchester (Hybrid - Office / Work from Home)

Our growing client based near Manchester is currently looking for a 1st Line Engineer; the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our client's internal users in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and IT capabilities.

• Provide 1st line technical support via phone, email, and in person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
• Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex issues.
• Manage user accounts and assist with new hire setups.
• Document solutions and maintain IT inventory.
• Stay updated on technology trends and best practices.
• Occasional out-of-hours support is required.

• Proven experience in 1st line support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
