Compliance Engineer

(Pharma/COMAH/PUWER/LOLER/GMP) 

Liverpool 

12 Month fixed-term contract 

£60k Private Healthcare. Flex time – OT is paid back in extra days off. 25 days plus bank holiday. Income protection at 50% (Can be raised to 70 at cost) Flex benefits – Store discounts, dentistry and buy and sell holidays etc. 

Details/Brief – Reporting into Maintenance & reliability team, as the Compliance Engineer, you will be a Subject Matter expert, possibly qualified & delivers expertise in: 

1) PSSR Pressure Systems Safety Regulations & 2) PUWER provision & use of work equipment regulations

2) PUWER provision & use of work equipment regulations

3) LOLER Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations. 

Perosnality fit;

• Strength in being able to convey technical information & work in harmony with the maintenance and reliability team.
• Persistent, Proactive, Consistent; for example, the insurance surveyors require a persistent effort rather than just an email & wait for a response.

Compliance Engineer, Technical Profile: 

• Previous experience in Engineering Compliance for a top tier COMAH site
• Pharmaceutical GMP Plant background 
• Mechnical Enginering qualifiicaiton 
• Ability to audit & inspect is highly desirable.
• Mechanical Engineer with some qualifications in the key HSE areas stated above (SSR-PUWER-LOLER)
