1:1 Teaching Assistant

Academics are looking for a specialised 1:1 Teaching Assistant, to aid a child with ASD/ADHD needs. The friendly and nurturing-focused school requires you to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until the end of the year.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:

• Have experience or an interest in supporting children with ASD / ADHD
• Be confident with following a personalised, 1:1 curriculum
• Be resilient, dedicated and reliable
• Hold a EYFS Practitioner/ Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification (desirable)

What you will do in your 1:1 Teaching Assistant role:

• Promote the learning and personal development of a Year 4 child
• Understand the specific ASD/ADHD needs
• Support and assist the class teacher in classroom learning
• Represent the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its 'big heart' ethos
