Exciting Opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a Fazakerley Primary School!

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with experience in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? One of our Primary School's in Fazakerley are looking for a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support for a child with ASD, as well as offer general and intervention support as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring professional to join our inclusive school community on a long-term, full-time basis, with an ASAP start.

Key Details:

  • Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Implement targeted interventions to address specific learning needs.
  • Offer general support within the classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with ASD is essential.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting individual needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to provide general and intervention support as required.
