Are you a teaching assistant looking for a long-term role in a lovely primary school with a caring and supportive ethos? We have an excellent opportunity to join a large primary school in the north of Cardiff as a Teaching Assistant in Year 3, providing 1:1 support to a child with a medical condition. The role is part-time for three days a week, starting as soon as possible, and will last for the remainder of the academic year.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the child\'s academic, social, and emotional development in the classroom and during break times. You will liaise with the class teacher, ALNCO, school nurse, and the child\'s parents to ensure the child\'s needs are met. You will also be responsible for administering prescribed medication and injections, following a specific healthcare plan and in line with the training that will be provided.

To be considered for the role, you will need:
* Recent similar experience in a primary classroom setting within the last 2 years.
* Experience of administering medication and injections is an asset, although training will be provided.
* A Teaching Assistant qualification at level 2 or 3 is preferred, but not mandatory providing that you have recent experience.
