Tradewind are currently recruiting for a 1:1 Male Teaching Assistant to work in SEMH School based in Wirral. The school is a Key Stage 3 & 4 SEMH School and Autistic unit.

The role for a 1:1 Male Teaching Assistant is to work with a male pupil with ASC who's EHCP states that a Male Teaching Assistant would be better suited to keep him engaged and build a relationship.

The role is to start immediately and is a long term role that could become permanent for the right candidate. Experience of supporting a child or adult with similar needs would be beneficial but not essential.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
