Seven Resourcing are looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work in a school in  Lymington, Hampshire,  During Term Time until the 23/07/2024. Pay from £13.00 to £15.00 per hour. working 32.50 hours per week.

The role:

Learning Support Assistant to provide support for the teacher and pupils, specificly working with a boy with an EHCP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring pupil is kept on task and complete activities set by teachers.
  • Deal with behavioural and special needs issues in conjunction with the teacher.
  • Help implement lesson plans to support for curriculum, assist with testing and assessment.
  • Detect signs of behavioural issues, work with outside health, social and enforcement agencies, maintain behaviour management standards of children, some of whom can be especially challenging and difficult with complex needs, deal with racial/abusive language and bullying.
  • An LSA 3, due to training and expertise, will normally carry a specific specialist responsibility (eg. Speech therapy) and support and develop other staff in the school when help is needed in this area.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Teaching and Learning, trained to NVQ3 standard.
  • Experience: Supporting children and/or young people, 1 to 1 / LSA experience.
  • Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Enhanced DBS/Children's Barred List check and clean UK Driving licence.
