This is an opportunity for someone to be part of a dedicated team of staff who ensure all children have the best educational start to their school career.

This Primary School is in the heart of a village on the outskirts of Bristol in BS32. As a 1 form entry school, the staff are passionate about providing an inclusive learning environment for all their pupils to access their learning at their own pace.



The Role

This position is a part-time role - 2 days a week - starting as soon as possible.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is passionate and caring, someone who has previous experience working with SEND so you can support an individual pupil in KS2.

You will be required to supervise the pupil to and from different activities to support their social and emotional development.

You will be expected to:

  • Strong positive behaviour management strategies.

  • Have a positive and caring attitude.

  • Build a strong relationship with the pupil and their family.

  • Be flexible and encouraging when working with this pupil.

  • Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment.
