Location: Bedworth, Warwickshire
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week
Duration: Until the end of the academic year

We are seeking a dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bedworth, Warwickshire. In this role, you will have the rewarding responsibility of supporting a child with high emotional and behavioral needs both in and outside of the classroom. Your compassion, patience, and ability to handle challenging situations will be essential in helping the student thrive academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to a child with high emotional and behavioral needs.
Assist the student in understanding and completing tasks according to their individualised learning plan.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for the student.
Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement effective strategies for student success.
Monitor and manage the student's behavior, providing guidance and redirection as needed.
Offer emotional support and encouragement to the student, helping them develop coping mechanisms and self-regulation skills.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with high emotional and behavioral needs is preferred.
Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic in challenging situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student.
Must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check through the update service.
Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
