Company: A niche sector Freight Forwarder based in Colnbrook, Berkshire.
Position: We are currently hiring for a Trainee Export Clerk or an Experienced Export Clerk to join our dynamic team.
Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities:
- Trainee Export Clerk:
- If you’re a bright and enthusiastic individual, this is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your career in the world of exports!
- Full training will be provided.
- Experienced Export Clerk (with at least 2 years of experience):
- Handle air export operations with precision.
- Assist with imports when needed.
- Complete customs documentation accurately.
- Ensure smooth shipment processing from start to finish.
- Negotiate rates and update customers.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers for timely delivery of goods.
Qualifications and Skills:
- For the Trainee Export Clerk, previous industry experience is a bonus but not essential.
- For the Experienced Export Clerk, a minimum of 2 years of experience within export operations is required.
Salary:
- Trainee Export Clerk: £22,000 - £25,000 (depending on experience).
- Experienced Export Clerk: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
