This online wedding planner course is great for the budding wedding planner who wishes to set up their own business. It is also great for anyone that is looking to plan a wedding in the future and teaches the necessary budgeting, management and planning techniques required to do this.

The units cover a number of different topics that are required knowledge of any wedding planner and the course has a unit dedicated to helping you launch your own wedding planner company.

Description

This course has been developed to teach the necessary skills and knowledge needed to plan a wedding from start to finish and is specifically tailored to help people understand how to start their own company planing weddings for others.

Units covered on this course include:

Unit 1: The Role of the Wedding Planner

In this first unit we will explore the role of a wedding planner and the duties which they are tasked with in preparation for a couples wedding day.

Unit 2: Planning for the Big Day

Next we will look at the planning of a wedding and the different aspects that need to be organised with the couple prior to the wedding.

Unit 3: Budgeting and Finance

Being able to work out the financial aspects of a wedding is incredibly important. Here we will explore the need for budgeting and how to work with a variety of different financial situations.

Unit 4: Overseas Weddings

Many people now choose to have a wedding abroad and there are special requirements that must be taken into consideration when doing this which we will look at here.

Unit 5: Types of Weddings

There are a large number of different types of weddings that clients can opt for with varying degrees of religious attachment. Here we look at the most common and their differences.

Unit 6: Launching your own business

Becoming a wedding planner takes a wide variety of different skills to plan weddings as well as run a successful business. In this final unit we look at the necessities of running a financially viable company.

Course duration

Once enrolled, students can access this course for up to 12 months and will be able to complete their work at any time to suit them in this period. You can choose to complete the course very quickly in this time should you choose, or spread your learning out over the full year.

Course format

This course is delivered through the online learning campus which can be accessed at any time, 24/7. We use the same online system as many of the worlds top universities and all lessons can be accessed through a computer, tablet or smartphone at any time to suit students. Lessons are navigated through the use of slideshows with many images, diagrams and information available at the touch of a button or click of a mouse.

There are no particular system requirements needed to access the course and students only need an internet connection.

Assessments

This qualification is assessed through one final examination after students have completed all of the lessons on the course. This final assessment will cover all of the areas seen throughout the course and test the ability of the learner on the information that has been provided to them.

This final assessment will be marked by one of our tutors and a mark returned to the learner along with their downloadable certification. Hard copies of certification can be sent to students on request at an additional cost of £10.
