User Experience Designer (3 months)

1. Strategy & Content: Learn how a UX Designer thinks, the UX role in a professional setting and kick off your portfolio project by building user personas, an information architecture and developing content.

2. Wireframing & Prototyping: Walk through UX best practices as you develop your product’s first wireframes. Study grid systems, responsive design for mobile and begin testing your ideas with users.

3. Visual Design & Analytics: Add an element of visual design to your project, and learn how to gather data and use it. Continue testing and iterating while rounding out your knowledge with a variety of tools.

CareerFoundry UX Design students come from a broad range of backgrounds and talents - but all with one similar aim: to get skilled up in tech. Our courses cater for absolute beginners - those with no previous UX design knowledge - who are taken right through to meet employable standards in technology; with our help kickstarting their new tech careers. CareerFoundry also attracts those with more experience, for example established graphic designers who wish to learn UX Design to broaden their current skillsets. The subscription nature of our programs means that students can pick up the skills they need as and when they need them, with coursework and assignments that fit around work, family and study.

Many of our students are career changers, looking to experience the freedom of working freelance in a creative and fulfilling profession.
