  • This course outlines value-creation opportunities in the global marketplace, as well as the challenges of pursuing those opportunities.
  • It also describes three broad global strategies – adaptation, aggregation, and arbitrage – and how companies may use them in unique combinations.

Managing in a Global Environment

  • This course describes some strategies and techniques for managing successfully in a global business.
  • It explains the importance of having a global mindset and how to cultivate one so that you can carry out your responsibilities effectively – even with the added complexity of different cultures.
  • The course also describes which managerial styles and techniques work best for different cultural contexts and outlines some strategies for managing a global team.
