This 9 unit award consists of:
Unit 1 Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (3 credits) AND
Unit 3 Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (6 credits)
Unit 1 Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (3 credits)
A knowledge-only unit for those who need to know about assessment but who are not currently practising e.g. aspiring assessors or quality managers.
Unit 3 Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (6 credits)
For practitioners who assess achievement in vocationally-related situations e.g. classrooms or workshops and who use the following assessment methods: assessments in simulated environments, skills tests, oral and written questions, assignments, projects, case studies and RPL.
