This advanced course is designed to enhance new and existing expertise in the supply chain environment as well as developing management skills.

The aim of this course is to introduce the main principles, concepts and practices of supply chain management. The content covers four main themes - what is a supply chain and supply chain planning, why it is important in any business, how the supply chain operates and the principles for supply chain improvement. Where appropriate, the global nature of the supply chain is emphasised.

Logistics and supply chain management is a key industry, which contributes hugely to the UK economy, as well as globally. It is one of the few industries that is currently recruiting fast and this course will give you a great overview of the subject.

This course is based on professional standards from The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK. CILT (UK) is the UK territorial body of CILT, which has a presence in more than 30 countries across the world. This network of members and contacts can connect all CILT members wherever they are in the world and constitutes the greatest resource of professional expertise within our areas of interest.
