Overview

These official Sage courses (Sage Bookkeeping Levels 1 and 2) give you the essential knowledge to use Sage Bookkeeping software for your accounts, and even prepare for the Sage Stage 1 and 2 exams (also available from learndirect) to gain the formal certification. They will help you to get to grips with the software - covering everything from the basics through to day-to-day use.

This course collection is perfect if you run your own small to medium sized business, or if you have to deal with finances in your job.

Description

In the first level, you'll get to grips with double entry bookkeeping, learn to understand VAT and VAT returns and better understand how to work with your customers and suppliers. The second level will progress to cover accounting for reduction and write-offs, learn how to reconcile Sage Bookkeeping with your bank account, and apply performance measures. Using a simulated version of Sage accounts software, you'll be up and running quickly and confidently.

Certificate

A learndirect certificate will be emailed to you when you have successfully completed each course level. You can then progress to the the formal "Sage Bookkeeping Certificate of Competence" by taking the online Bookkeeping exams which are sold separately. The course covers all of the learning that is required for the Level 1 and 2 exams.
