Description
This programme aims to create graduates with qualities and transferable skills ready for demanding employment in the renewable energy sector. These graduates will have the independent learning ability required for continuing professional development and acquiring new skills at the highest level.

Requirements:
A UK 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree, Honours degree or equivalent internationally recognised qualification in an engineering or technology discipline. Other qualifications and relevant experience will be assessed on an individual basis.
English language requirements: IELTS: 6 (min 5.5 in all areas); Pearson: 51 (51 in all subscores); BrunELT: 60 per cent (min 55 per cent in all areas).

Each module is assessed either by formal examination, written assignments or a combination of the 2.
Modules:
Modules include: renewable energy technologies 1 (solar thermal and electricity systems); renewable energy technologies 2 (wind, tidal, wave and hydroelectricity); renewable energy technologies 3 (geothermal, biomass, hydrogen); energy, economics and power markets; renewable energy systems for the built environment; energy conversion technologies; environmental legislation (energy and environmental review and audit); advanced heat and mass transfer; dissertation.
