Overview

The content of this course has been mapped to the underpinning knowledge within the following unit on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF): Principles of managing information and producing documents – Level 2.

All organisations have their own specific procedures that they follow when planning, directing and coordinating supportive services. The development of effective administrative procedures will help ensure a continuity of supply that matches the demand for that product or service. In turn this will enable the organisation to maintain productivity through the successful completion of everyday business activities.

This online training has been developed to provide learners with the understanding required to complete core administrative tasks in a business environment. On completion, learners will be understand how to use office equipment, handle mail, use telephone equipment, minimise waste, and provide reception services and effective customer service.

This unit is a mandatory unit within the following qualifications:
