This Professional Diploma in Cyber Security is delivered via a series of online lectures. In addition to live lectures we also offer lecture recordings, so you can study at a time that suits you. Over the 7 month period you will cover 4 key modules of study. Within each module you will explore various topical content, delivered by industry experts.

The modules covered are:

  • Foundation of Cyber Security and Information Management
  • Computer Forensic and Digital Investigation
  • Incidence Response and Digital Forensic
  • Essential Skills for Ethical Hacking

The first module will give you a basic understanding of cyber security and infosec. You will study the not only ethical practice but also the legal landscape surrounding cyber security. Once you have completed the first module you will then move on to computer forensic and digital investigation. From here you will further investigate the types of cyber crime, data acquisition and forensic reporting. In module three you examine the various phases of incident response and the different softwares available for doing so. Finally, in module four you will study essential skills and reasonings behind ethical hacking. Furthermore, you will also be given the opportunity to put your new skills to the test in a practice setting.

Requirements
