Learning Objectives

After the successful completion of Phlebotomy training, the learners will be able to understand the infection control principles during the process of phlebotomy. Further, the learners will be able to recognize and acquire the capabilities mentioned in the CHS132 National Occupational Standard for performing phlebotomy. The Phlebotomy training will enable the students to handle the vacutainer system for collecting blood samples. In addition to this, the learners will be able to understand the various complications that can be encountered during this process.

To achieve a Certificate in Phlebotomy learner must have to achieve a minimum of 4 Units with 40 Credits.

Course Outline: The course is divided into two parts, both of which must be passed in order to be awarded the Endorsed Level 3 Certificate in Phlebotomy

Phlebotomy Part 1 – Theoretical + Practical Session (ultra-modern simulation equipment)

Phlebotomy Part 2: Advanced Practical Session – Part 2 Fee – (£350 Normal fee) only Pay £270 (Offer For Limited Time, End Soon)

In the Advanced Practical Session, you will learn a Phlebotomist role in the pathology department, NHS professional standards, codes of practice, policies and procedure and much more under the supervision of highly qualified & professional trainers.

Unit 4: Applying Advanced Phlebotomy Skills and Techniques (Advanced Practical Session) in Clinical Atmosphere

Learning Outcome 1: Applying hand washing techniques in the healthcare environment.
Learning Outcome 2: Applying precautions for infection prevention and control.

Phlebotomy Certification

Upon successful completion of Part 1, students will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Inspire London College. Further, you will be able to progress for Advanced Practical Session.

Upon successful completion of Part 2, you will receive a CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE which will allow you to work without close supervision as a phlebotomist.

Endorsed Phlebotomy Certificate (Level 3 in Phlebotomy)

Upon successful completion of Part 1 & Part 2, students will receive the CPD Accredited Certificate of Completion Level 3 Certificate in Phlebotomy from awarding organisation within 10 working days.

Note: The certificate is valid for 2 years from the date of award/issue.

How much is the part 2 training and will I be qualified to get a phlebotomist role after part 1 and 2

Answer:

Part 2 – Advanced Practical Session/Live Blood Session. We will send you to the GP clinic for your practice session. In the GP clinic, you will be shadowing the trained phlebotomist. The fee for part 2 is £250. Part 2 will be at our associated GP clinic in West London, Southall, Chiswick, Greenford or Perivale.

No, there is fix location which is a GP Clinic for Part 2. Learner need to choose date only to do his/her Part 2.
