Overview
Our Personal Fitness Trainer Advanced course has been specifically designed for those who are seeking the skills and knowledge required in order to begin a career within the fitness industry. The fitness industry is expanding rapidly despite the current economic downturn, there is a high rate of employment within the industry with currently more than 6,000 fitness centres located all across the UK. This means that there has never been a better time to take the first step towards becoming a fully qualified personal trainer.
The key feature of this course is the fact that it includes the full syllabus and practical training from our Gym Instructor: QCF Level 2 qualification as well as the full syllabus and practical training from our Personal Fitness Trainer: QCF Level 3. So if you have never had any experience at all within the fitness industry, and are looking to work as a full qualified Personal Trainer, then this is the ideal course for you.
Most students will complete the theory element of the course in 6 ? 8 weeks (although we impose no time limits on this), you can then book onto your practical training which lasts for 9 days (please click on the ?Furth Info? tab below for more information on the practical training).
This course is a full qualification listed on the QCF (Qualifications Curriculum Framework) at Level 3 (500/8820/8)
Please note:
If you opt to study for this qualification by the postal method you will receive a binder of all the course notes in the post, however you will still require internet access in order to complete the assignments for this course.
On completion of the Personal Trainer Advanced qualification you will be able to work in a wide variety of roles within the health and fitness industry, for instance you could set up your own business as a personal trainer or you could work in a gym. You will also have the benefit of being able to offer your clients nutritional advice and information on a one to one basis.
On completion of this course you will be able to gain employment in any of the major or independent gyms in the UK and you will also qualify for entry on the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 3 Personal Trainer status.

Requirements
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds, however students must be 16 years or older.
