Duration and Delivery

The qualification is designed to be completed over one year of full-time study. However, we accommodate for completely flexible delivery, so that students can schedule their learning on a self-paced basis through our online portal, to accommodate for other commitments such as work and family, or on the other hand, to fast-track their learning. The qualification is delivered online through our Virtual Learning Environment with 24x7 online tutor support.

Assessment and Verification

All units within this course are internally verified by our qualified assessors and externally verified by OTHM. This Level 7 Postgraduate management diploma course is criterion-referenced, based on specific learning outcomes. To achieve a “PASS” for a unit, a student must complete the learning outcomes to meet the assessment criteria set by OTHM.

Equivalences

The Level 7 Diploma in Project Management qualification is based on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) equivalent to a Master’s degrees. A Level 7 Diploma is shorter than a Master’s degree, but learners can still get direct entry at dissertation level into a University’s Masters programme.

Progression

Successful completion of this diploma course enables students to progress their professional career in leadership and management, and/or to advance to higher levels of study. As this qualification is regulated and approved by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), students are eligible to progress for Master’s top-up programs at the University of Chichester.

Who is this course for?

This course is for mature learners who are looking to develop and display their project management skills, perhaps to increase their performance in a current position, or in order to secure a future position. This course also provides to opportunity to progress to a Master's top-up course at the University of Chichester, so this course is also for those looking to advance their studies.

Requirements

For entry in this course, learners must meet the following criteria:

  • A UK level 6 diploma, an honours degree, or equivalent qualification.
  • Mature learners are also advised to have management experience.
  • The learner should be 21 or older at the time of enrollment.

English Language Requirements:

Learners are expected to have English language proficiency of CEFR Level B2. This can be shown in the following ways:

  1. Being a native English speaker.
  2. Heaving achieved IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
  3. Having done your last two years of schooling in English.
  4. Passing the free English language test on our website.
