Course Units

• Principles of double entry bookkeeping from the basic concepts and policies to more complex issues including depreciation, accruals or bad debts
• Principles of preparing financial statements for a sole trader, including bookkeeping errors and the Trial Balance
• Principles of VAT to get a better understanding of what it is, how it’s applied and how to calculate and reclaim it.
• Core concepts when dealing with bookkeeping for partnership and not-for-profit organisations and charities.
• Learning to deal with incomplete records and cash management accurately and to a high standard at all times.

Tutor Support

We provide you with tutor support throughout your 12-month course access period. This Level 3 bookkeeping qualification is aimed at you if who have completed Levels 1 & 2 or if you have accounting experience, which you would like to take to expand on and validate in order to take your career to the next level.

This Level 3 bookkeeping qualification requires you to have the Level 2 IAB computerised accounting qualification or anyone who has equivalent level bookkeeping experience which they would like to validate with a recognised certification.

This Level 3 Sage and IAB Dual certification can unlock potential employment opportunities that weren’t available to you before. Once fully qualified, you will be able to add value to your name by adding IAB or AIAB at the end of it. This status comes with a salary in the region of £36,000 pa.
