Description
The course is split into 4 units comprising of 3 taught units and a work-based assignment, designed to demonstrate an application of the knowledge gained over the course of the previous units.
- Unit A: Management of Health and Safety
- Unit B: Control of Hazardous Agents in the Workplace
- Unit C: Workplace and Work Equipment Safety
- Unit D: Application of Health and Safety Theory and Practice
Examinations
Units A, B and C are each assessed by one three-hour written question paper per unit, with each paper covering the whole unit syllabus - at least one question per unit element. Unit D consists of a written assignment set by NEBOSH and is approximately 8,000 words in length which are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH.
