Overview

The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services is aimed at individuals who lead social care provision in an adult or a children and young people’s setting, either as managers of the provision or as senior practitioners. If you are already in a social care management position or a senior practitioner looking to make the step up into management then this is the course for you.

Description

You must complete knowledge and competence units equalling an overall 80 credits. Assessment takes place through evaluation of work-based performance, observation, presenting evidence, professional discussion, witness testimony and questioning. A portfolio of evidence is produced which demonstrates that you can perform to the level described.

The course is delivered on-line and there is no classroom attendance required.

The course is self-paced and you have up to 18 months to complete.
