This course enables delegates to develop further their skills and knowledge to enable them to enter data correctly, create sophisticated and complex queries, learn and use basic automation techniques including macros.

This Microsoft Access 2010 Intermediate course is the second of a 3-Level course, which aims to build on the skills and knowledge delegates acquired at Beginner Level. This course enables delegates to develop further their skills and knowledge to enable them to enter data correctly, create sophisticated and complex queries, learn and use basic automation techniques including macros. Delegates will be engaged in the following:

  • Protect data by using a range of data validation features in Access 2010
  • Formatting data in tables
  • Use a range of querying techniques for performing advanced queries
  • Creating and Using parameter queries
  • Creating calculated queries
  • Modifying and adapting forms to meet your requirements
  • Working with a variety of macro techniques
  • Creating and using macros
  • Creating Macros on forms

The course is for you if you have some understanding of creating basic databases using Microsoft Access 2010, preferably have attended the Microsoft Access 2010 for Beginners course.

The course is designed for delegates with some understanding of creating basic databases using Microsoft Access 2010, preferably have attended the Microsoft Access 2010 for Beginners course. A general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system environment would also be beneficial.
