Description
The course develops students’ knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering. Students have the opportunity to undertake in-depth studies through their research projects. This course is intended for honours graduates (or an international equivalent) in mechanical or mechanical-related engineering (e.g. automotive, aeronautical or design), maths, physics or a related discipline. A 2 year MSc is also available for non-native speakers of English that includes a preliminary year.

Requirements:
12 month MSc: A 2.2 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in mechatronics, mechanical or electronic engineering or a related subject. Applicants whose 1st language is not English need an overall IELTS score of 6.5. 24 month MSc: a 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in mechatronics, mechanical or electronic engineering or a related subject. Applicants whose 1st language is not English need an overall IELTS score of 6.0. Both routes: International students may need an ATAS (Academic Technology Approval Scheme) clearance certificate.
