An Honours degree or equivalent in acceptable scientific or engineering discipline; appropriate work experience is considered.

Modules include: Research skills; advanced mechatronics; computational fluid dynamics; computer aided design; combustion fundamentals and applications; advanced energy systems, heat and mass transfer. Four elective modules from: introduction to control; dynamics of structures; energy utilisation management; internal combustion engines and powertrain; performance of internal combustion engines; mathematical modelling in CAD; renewable energy; vehicle technology.
