Description
This course, accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, is designed to provide you with the latest technological knowledge and industrial management skills, at an advanced level of study, in specific aspects of mechanical engineering that are in demand from industry. The course also provides you with a strategic overview of engineering and management skills necessary to take on leadership roles in major engineering projects.

Requirements:
An Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in partial fulfilment of the academic requirements for chartered engineer status, and/or suitable industrial experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English require 6.5 overall with 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in reading, listening and speaking.
Assessment Methods:
Assessment can be through coursework and/or exams and industrial or group projects.

Modules inlclude: Business resource management; industrial project management; information systems for engineers; green engineering and energy efficiency; industrial project review and analysis; e-engineering with internet applications; integrated CAD/CAM systems; advanced CAD/CAM systems; total quality; computational fluid dynamics; advanced stress and finite elements analysis; mechanical motion and control; advanced materials processing; mechatronics and automation systems.
