Areas of supervision include: Engineering design and simulation; structural and conjugate flow studies; concrete and structural design; applied dynamics and finite element implementation in crash analysis; high performance energy absorbers; metal composites failure mechanisms; connection failure models in carbon fibres under high-frequency loading; fatigue analysis in carbon fibre skins; formula 1 applications; application of engineering solutions to medical problems; applied fluid mechanics and thermal engineering; applied computational fluid dynamics; analytical thermodynamics; heat exchangers and heat recovery systems; energy efficiency and performance of buildings; water saving products; design optimisation.
