Overview

If you're looking for a job in marketing as an administrator or a PA, this course will give you an introduction to the marketing world to get you ahead of the job seeking crowd in this popular sector.

This course is available in London (Holborn, Notting Hill and Croydon) and can also be studied at home via our distance learning programme.

It's a self-paced course, and is taught with an audio guide and a comprehensive workbook, and you will also benefit from the help and support of our expert training team.

As this is a self-paced course, students will enjoy creating their own learning routine around their existing commitments.

All four of our centres operate long opening hours which accommodate our flexible learning methodology, and we're open during the day, in the evenings and Saturdays. You can study as much or as little as you like, each time you come in - it's up to you!

Description

In around 12 hours of self-paced study, you'll cover the following:

Lesson 1: Marketing plans, researching a product, market research, qualitative and quantitative research, questionnaires, customer profiles.

Lesson 2: How websites are designed to market a product or service, search engines, keywords, social networks, online advertising, email marketing, mobile marketing, monitoring the effectiveness of search, website and social media marketing, convergent technology.

Lesson 3: AIDA, colour, images and text in advertising, flyers, news releases, TV and radio advertising.

Lesson 4: The four Ps of marketing products, the lifecycle of a product, product placement and pricing strategies, how companies promote the brand, the importance of brand loyalty, careers in marketing, how to get started in this sector.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
