Can I complete the 100 hours work practice at the beginning of the course to get it complete and then not be in active work whilst studying the rest?
Answer:Hi there, the 100 hours of teaching practice can be conducted at any point throughout the duration. But you will still need to be actively working for the practical observations which need a minimum two weeks spacing between them.
This was helpful.Also during our 8 observations what qualifications would the mentor need to qualify as someone who can observe?
Answer:Hi there. The observer would need to be a fully qualified teacher if you were using your own observer (e.g. DET, PGCE). Alternatively, one of our observers could attend remotely to observe you!
This was helpful.Hi I am not actively working in a school and have no experience and Iam wondering if I can still do this course by just finding 100 hour placement?
Answer:Hi there. Yes, you can still do the course but there is a requirement to be in a voluntary or paid placement to achieve the 100 hours of teaching practice and 8 minimum 1-hour observed sessions.
