Overview

The Level 3 Diploma in Combined Nail Technology Skills (RQF) is aimed at those learners wishing to develop their knowledge, understanding and practical skills in providing manicure and pedicure treatments, and applying and maintaining nail enhancements.

This is a fast-track course which is run once every week over approximately 21 weeks and it is assessment based. The completion of assignments and practical assessments is required.

Description

The objective of Level 3 Diploma in Combined Nail Technology Skills is to develop learners' knowledge and skills and confirm their competence as nail technicians enabling them to expand their scope of technical skills for employment or self-employment as a beauty therapist. The learner will learn how to plan, prepare and deliver level 3 nail treatments safely and correctly in accordance with health and safely regulations and legislation.

This course is aimed at those wanting a career in Beauty, specifically in the nail industry. You can enrol on this course as a beginner without any prior knowledge or as an experienced therapist needing a recognised regulated qualification.

Requirements

Learners should be competent in literacy and numeracy to help with elements of communication. Learners will need to produce GCSE certificates/or equivalent in Maths and English to prove their competency.
