Duration and Delivery

This course is designed to be completed online at the pace that suits you the best. This fast track level 3 English course can take as little as 1 week or up to 3 weeks. The level 3 qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment. Our online tutor support is there to facilitate you to achieve your success rate accordingly.

Assessment and Verification

All units within this assessor qualification are internally assessed by our qualified assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments and demonstration of assessment skills through video recording, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor.

Progression

Successful completion of this assessor course enables learners to enhance your career profile and become an apprenticeship assessor. This is the most thorough level 3 assessing qualification and would allow you to assess NVQ apprenticeship assessor courses and any other regulated training in your subject area.
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools

  • be over 16 years of age
  • have a satisfactory level of Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • access to three learners at their workplace to complete the observation
