What will I study?

Theory, science, health and safety, practical. LED gel polish techniques will be applied, maintained and removed as part of the assessments. Range statements include fingers, toes, dark, light, French gel colours.

Assignment, online test, practical observations, oral questions.

What qualifications could I achieve?

A Level 2 Award in LED Gel Polish.

Requirements

An NVQ/VRQ Level 2 Manicure certificate is required or equivalent.

Level 1 English/Literacy or equivalent is required.

Career path

Widening the nail treatments offered to clients to include LED Gel Polish. Or progression onto a Beauty Therapy Level 2 qualification.
