Writecrimefiction.com is an online course.  It is a step by step guide on how to write a successful crime novel and get it published.   The online course is suitable for those that have always wanted to write a novel, develop their creative abilities or been struck with a brilliant idea they would like express.

With this online 12 module course students will learn to create compelling characters, plot and structure engaging storylines and write effective dialogue. The course will outline the forensic science procedures required to write a successful crime thriller including: crime scene investigation, fingerprint analysis, DNA evidence, autopsies and police procedures.  The course will also explain how to get their crime novel published.

The course includes:

At the end of each module there is a multiple-choice self-assessment test consisting of 10 questions.  Each test has a minimum passing score of 70%, which you must achieve before you can move to the next module in the course. You can take each module test as many times as you like until you pass.

The testing system assesses your answers and calculates the score instantly. This means there is no waiting for an assessor to mark results, like other more outmoded courses.

Certificate

Students will receive a certificate to say they have completed the course.

Requirements: There is no need to have a clear story or have developed interesting characters before you start the course, all you need to provide is enthusiasm and a determination to write your own crime novel.  However it is important that you read a lot of books in the crime genre, reading the work of successful crime writers is indispensable and there are many references to successful crime writers throughout the course.
