Pre-course material

Before the course, candidates will be sent pre-course reading material.

You will be expected to carry out at least 2hrs homework per evening to help prepare you for the exam.

Course outline

Spread across three days, this course covers 5 interrelated lifecycle phases:

  • Service Strategy – understanding organisational and customer needs and objectives
  • Service Design – turning strategies for services into a detailed business service plan
  • Service Transition – building, delivering and developing capability for introducing new services to organisations and customers
  • Service Operations – day-to-day management of services
  • Continual Service Improvement – selecting and managing incremental service improvements

Exam

  • 60 min closed book exam
  • 40 multiple choice questions
  • 26 / 40 marks required to pass (65%)
  • 2 credits towards ITIL® Expert qualification upon successful completion

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
