Overview
The course is designed for beginners to lean and continuous improvement; the aim of this course is to create a foundation for you to build upon. The course is designed and created for every academic level, it is visual, interactive plus uses both written and verbal delict. It is important to understand the origins for any process; this does not exclude the origins of Lean.
Firstly we will transport you back in time to one for the pinnacle moments in the creation of this process, as we move forward in time we will meet the pioneers and explain their role in the development of Lean & Continuous improvement.
We will then take a look at the five principles of all lean theories; these 5 principles guide a lean and continuous journey, they help you use and understand other lean processes and tools.
These principles should not be ignored, again in each section we will explain why, how and summarise.
This course has a depth of information and will give you a great foundation and insight into how lean was created along with its 5 principle’s. The techniques are not just limited to a lean transformation but will assist in all areas of life
This course will stand you in good stead to build on your Lean and Continuous improvement knowledge. We all have to start somewhere and this subject requires an equal amount of experience to theory.

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for beginners into the world of Lean and continuous Improvement, You may have a workforce who needs to understand what Lean and continuous improvement is and how it works. You may be an individual who is seeking employment and has noticed most companies require Lean or Continuous Improvement knowledge, so you want to boost your chances of progressing through the CV and Interview stage. You may notice Six Sigma mentioned in many places and it is recognised as a standard for continuous improvement data collection. However Six Sigma can be a hard concept to understand if you have zero knowledge of the Lean & Continuous improvement process. So start with us, gain the knowledge then move onto Six Sigma or the LCS lean practitioner courses.
Requirements
To carry out this course all you require is a PC or MAC, use of a printer to print your e notes / Certificate and 25 to 40 minutes spare time.

All industries either use continuous improvement now or will do very soon. The process is applicable to every industry sector and every level of the business. As a career path Lean can take you into many different areas, what company would not want someone who can actively reduce waste and increase efficiency.
