Description

This nationally recognised First Responder on Scene – Immediate Emergency Care; is delivered over 5–days. Providing the key skills in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Skills outlined at Level D as per the Faculty, Prehospital Care Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Completing this training succesfully will allow the firefighter who's role is to provide Immedate Emergency Care at scene in a clinical structured manner until an Emergency Ambulance arrives at scene:

  • Primary assessment
  • Secondary assessment
  • Provide Immediate care and treatments as found.
  • Provide medical gases as indicated by findings.
  • To provide clear and concise clinical handover to attending ambulance staff using AMIST format.

Be a employed firefighter or on a firefight training programme from within the UK services of British Dependent territories FRS.This training is also suitable for those working in Private sector Fire & Rescue Services, such as UK Airports, Events teams and onsite FRS at UK factories where a Fire & Rescue servies is provided, such as Docks.
