Each unit in this qualification focuses on a specific set of skills and knowledge:

  • Becoming an effective leader – a range of units including how to use different leadership styles, emotional intelligence, communicate strategic directions and produce a personal development plan.

  • Leading innovation and change – including units on assessing and explaining change, using different techniques to deliver improvement, and understanding and implementing change management plans.

  • Understanding the organisational culture and context – such as analysing the organisation and its broader environment, examining policies and procedures, and evaluating cultural and ethical behaviour.
