Overview
With the world becoming more connected, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Identity theft is now one of the fastest growing crimes in the world. Identity theft can be perpetrated by any persistent culprit, from small-time thieves to big-time terrorists.
Identity thieves now use a variety of methods and tools to access personal and financial information, resulting to billions of losses each year for both businesses and individuals. Just the same, it is possible for one to develop and adopt practical solutions to counter this growing problem—by way of understanding its pervasiveness and its who’s, what’s, and how’s.
Knowledge of how identity theft works and how identity thieves operate is one of the best means to protect oneself and others against this crime. And this course is a good place to start learning about the subject.
