This combined Levels 1 & 2 in Computerised Accounting for Business course provides the perfect introduction to the bookkeeping, teaching you how to perform a range of tasks using Sage 50 Accounts software.

Sage 50 Accounts is a comprehensive business management system that provides valuable information on customers, suppliers, products and areas of profitability within the business.

If going into a career in accounting, it’s more beneficial for you to have an interest in maths, accountancy and finance. People that have come from careers with backgrounds in maths or backgrounds that you gain office type experience, like being an admin, PA, administration assistant or working in secretarial, accountancy & finance, recruitment, bookkeeping also have a huge advantage, as you’ll be able to transfer key skills to your new career.

You will learn how to create customer and supplier accounts, process invoices and credit notes, calculate trade and settlement discounts, analyse customer accounts for credit control purposes and deal with bad debt write offs.

About the IAB

The International Association for Book-keepers (IAB) is a professional awarding body for members who provide Computerised Bookkeeping and accounting services to firms and businesses, both in the UK and internationally. The IAB aims to meet an extensive range of financial skills for small and medium businesses, qualifying individuals in the provision of these services. The IAB award Diplomas, Qualifications and Certificates in multiple fields including business, bookkeeping and finance.

Requirements
