Are you a Professional Bookkeeper or Account Administrator? Or are aspiring to get into this industry? Then our IAB Level 3 Advanced Bookkeeping course could be the right course for you.

The IAB Advanced Bookkeeping course forms the third and final stage on the IAB qualification pathway. Upon completion of your IAB level 3 Bookkeeping studies you will gain a licence to practise as a qualified Bookkeeper on behalf of Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies. You will be qualified for a variety of professional bookkeeping and accounting positions.

Are there any requirements?

To enrol on the IAB Advanced Bookkeeping course you must already hold the IAB Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping and IAB Level 2 Award in Computerised Bookkeeping; or have two years’ experience in bookkeeping.

What skills will I gain?

The level 3 Advanced Bookkeeping course forms the final stage on the IAB qualification pathway, giving you the higher level skills you need to become a fully qualified professional Bookkeeper, practising on behalf of Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited companies.

The course will expand on principles learnt at level 2, teaching you how to undertake advanced processes such as the preparation of financial statements for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Not for Profit organisations.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through two assignments, six computer based tests (sat at home) and three exams (sat at a test centre).

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
